NEW SCHOOL-BASED HEALTH CENTER
FRESNO, Calif. – Feb. 18, 2015 – Clinica Sierra Vista (CSV) is committed to the health and well-being of the children in our community. As a result, CSV is proud to partner with the Fresno Unified School District to open and operate the Gaston Middle School Health and Wellness Center, located at 1120 East Church Avenue, Fresno, California 93706.
The new school-based health center provides primary care services, such as acute illness treatment, preventative care, physicals, immunizations, and behavioral health services. The site houses three exam rooms and one treatment room. The 2,000 square foot facility is open five days a week at eight hours per day.
The Gaston Middle School Health and Wellness Center provides students with an innovative way to access health care, preparing them to be at their healthiest in school. Such support leads to improved student learning as well as stronger families and communities. CSV looks forward to assisting in the proper development of the community’s youth population.
