On Monday, November 30, 2015, Clinica Sierra Vista opened the North Fine Community Health Center, located at 1945 N. Fine Avenue Suite 100, Fresno, California 93727, on the east-side of Fresno, out near the airport area, to serve that part of urban Fresno where there are few primary care providers. The health center has four exam rooms, treatment room, vitals room, nurse’s station, and offices for the providers and clinic managers.
Primary services provided include family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics/gynecology. CSV also has the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) nutrition program, health insurance assistance, and chiropractic services at the site in the future.
“Providing health services to the Fresno community continues to be a major priority for CSV,” said CSV CEO Stephen W. Schilling. “We look forward to serving an area where there is minimal access to health providers.”
The North Fine Community Health Center also operates an electronic health record system to streamline the clinic’s workflow. The system will increase patient safety through evidence-based decision support, quality management of resources, and outcome reporting.
