The Iowa Primary Care Association (Iowa PCA) has provided technical assistance and training to Iowa’s community health centers to support their ongoing commitment to provide quality, affordable primary and preventive health care to meet community needs since 1988.
The Iowa PCA is a non-profit membership association comprised of 14 community health centers and one migrant health program and is recognized as the trusted voice on healthcare, particularly concerning vulnerable populations. These organizations collectively serve more than 588,000 Iowans each year through almost 780,000 patient visits.
Our Mission: Enhancing community health centers' capacity to care.
Our Vision: Health equity for all.
The Iowa PCA also manages two sister companies, profiled below, and manages the Iowa Association of Rural Health Clinics.
INConcertCare
Through our sister company, INConcertCare, health centers receive assistance around health information technology. By using data analytics and population health management, health centers are coordinating resources and analyzing data to build stronger partnerships with payors and other organizations to help eliminate fragmented care.
IowaHealth+
Our second sister company, IowaHealth+, is an integrated primary care network of 11 member health centers and the Iowa PCA. This statewide network of health centers is demonstrating how primary care clinics can improve patient outcomes while reducing costs. With values rooted in patient engagement and empowerment, IowaHealth+ is a national leader in healthcare reform. Learn more about IowaHealth+ on their website.
