Michigan Primary Care Association (MPCA)

Michigan’s community health centers have long been the hub of quality care for hundreds of thousands of patients and today serve 1 in 15 Michigan residents. The Michigan Primary Care Association (MPCA) supports community health centers by advocating to influence and advance health policy in Lansing and Washington, D.C., fostering cooperation among health centers and with external partners, and supporting health centers in the continuous pursuit of high-quality, patient-centered services.

MPCA’s driving principles- Advocacy, Collaboration, Improvement, and Equity- are aligned with the Association’s mission to ensure the delivery of excellent care that advances equitable health outcomes and a broader vision for the future where all Michiganders have a fair and just opportunity to attain their highest level of health. MPCA focuses on and assists Michigan’s health centers in five key areas: Value-Based Care Delivery, Health Information Technology and Data, People, Workforce, and Training, Health Center Resilience and Excellence, and Government Affairs and Advocacy.
