Valley Health got its start in 1975, and by 1978, opened three health centers in Barboursville, Wayne, and Milton.
Since founding those original health centers, Valley Health has seen great success and an increased need for primary care in rural West Virginia. Today, Valley Health operates over 30 health centers and public health programs in West Virginia and southeastern Ohio and provides primary and preventative care to around 55,000 patients.
